Follow the Bird! offers many opportunities to get involved to support conservation of the key wetlands in the African-European Flyway for Purple Herons:
1. Serve as an eye on the ground - to improve our knowledge of the Purple Heron, their migration stops and local conservation needs
Contribute your observations of Purple Herons along the Flyway. We seek information on numbers of birds and condition of wetlands they use. Kindly send your observations to nicky.petkov@wetlands.org
2. Connect people to flyway issues and local stories - share your images and stories on a web collage
Contribute your photos, film clips and news items on the people and wetlands visited by Purple Herons.
Kindly send your contributions to: sander.carpaij@wetlands.org
